What’s a DevOp?

Editor’s Note:  A DevOp is actually sort of a thing now but it’s really more an individual or role that spans both development and operations type skills/tasks and can move freely (and translate) between both worlds.  These individuals help further the DevOps ideology by bridging the gap between existing ops and dev teams (and helping to bring the two together through automation, configuration management, etc.)
